For my self growing up throughout the 90's BHM (black history month) always had a high level of importance in my house hold and in school. I would remember coming home from school getting help from my parents with my BHM homework. Learning about... Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm x.. And many other inspirational black figures was a big part in building my character today...
