Proposition 19 also known as the "Regulate, Control & Tax Cannabis Act" was a ballot initiative on November 2, 2010 in California. A statewide ballot in which was ultimately defeated w/ 54% of California voters voting "No" to 46% "Yes".... If passed , it would have legalized various marijuana related activities and allow local governments to regulate these activities, permitting local government to impose and collect cannabis related fees & taxes.
